Chris Tyra’s construction career started in high school at Midwest Foundation Corporation in Tremont, IL, guided by his father, Nuge. Over six years, he gained crucial experience at Midwest Foundation and Wagenbach Builders.
After studying construction management at Illinois State University, Chris interned for over two years at Pete Mangieri’s Peoria firm. Graduating, he joined full-time, managing projects like the $26 million One Technology Plaza in Peoria, rising to senior project manager. In 2009, he earned the Certified Construction Manager (CCM) designation.
Returning to Midwest Foundation in 2012, Chris established the building construction division. In 2014, along with Tim Braker and Brad Braker, he formed Midwest Construction Professionals. As co-owner, Chris handles 100% of MCP’s pre-construction services, engages in business development, and envisions expanding into new markets.
Married to Teri with three children, Chris is actively involved in the Germantown Hills community where they reside.
